Call for Papers – Berkeley Pharma Tech Journal of Medicine

The Berkeley Pharma Tech Journal of Medicine is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing cutting-edge, interdisciplinary research at the intersection of neuroscience, gene and cell-based therapies, and personalized medicine. The journal serves an academic, clinical, translational, and industry-facing audience, and aims to bridge scientific discovery with real-world healthcare and biotechnology applications.

We invite students, researchers, scientists, clinicians, and scholars to submit original manuscripts for consideration in our issue next year, expected to be published in January 2027.

Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

Neuroscience
Neurological disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, brain development and plasticity, neuroimaging, neuropharmacology, neurophysiology, and cognitive neuroscience.

Gene and Cell-Based Therapies
Gene therapy, stem cell therapy, gene editing, cell reprogramming, immunotherapy, and regenerative medicine.

Personalized Medicine
Precision medicine, pharmacogenomics, molecular diagnostics, biomarkers, personalized treatment strategies, and patient stratification based on genetic and molecular profiles.

We welcome original research articles, review papers, and perspective pieces that highlight recent advances and emerging directions in these fields. We are particularly interested in submissions that offer novel insights, propose innovative therapeutic approaches, and demonstrate strong clinical or translational relevance.

The Berkeley Pharma Tech Journal of Medicine welcomes submissions from both established and first-time authors. All manuscripts are evaluated solely on scientific merit through a rigorous peer-review process.

Submission Guidelines

  • Manuscripts prepared in accordance with the journal’s author guidelines should be submitted through our online submission system by June 15, 2026. Submissions received after this deadline will be reviewed for consideration in the next publication year (2028).
  • Submissions must be written in English and must not be previously published or under consideration elsewhere.
  • All manuscripts should include a clear title, abstract, keywords, and appropriate references.
  • Accepted articles will be published online with open-access availability to maximize visibility and impact.
  • The journal adheres to standard publication ethics and conflict-of-interest guidelines.
